Welcome to Gaingo

These terms are the rules for using Gaingo, made by Seweryn Wojtowicz in Ireland. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

Who can use Gaingo

You must be at least 16 years old. One account per person, and you're responsible for keeping your login safe.

Not medical advice

Gaingo is a motivation game, not a doctor or a coach. Stats, ranks, the Grizz Trials and anything in the app are for fun and motivation only. Train safely, warm up, and talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise programme or if you have any health condition. You train at your own risk.

Be kind: zero tolerance

Gaingo is a positive place. You must NOT post or send anything that is: nudity or sexual, hateful, bullying, harassing or body-shaming, violent, illegal, spam, someone else's private info, or photos of other people without their permission. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that break these rules, usually within 24 hours of a report.

Reporting and blocking

You can report any post, comment or user and block anyone, from the ⋯ menus. We review every report.

Your content

You own the photos and text you post. You give us permission to store and show them in Gaingo to the people you choose (public or followers). Delete a post and it's gone from the app.

Plates and items

Plates, items, characters and ranks are part of the game. They have no money value, can't be swapped for real money and may change as we improve the game.

The app itself

We work hard to keep Gaingo running and your progress safe, but the app is provided "as is" and things can sometimes go wrong. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for lost progress or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law.

Ending your account

You can delete your account any time in Settings. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; we'll update the date below and tell you in the app if it's a big change. These terms are governed by Irish law. Contact: support@gaingo.app.
